God created the
natural world in which we live. He created man in His image or form with a
natural life to live in the natural world. God placed the first humans in a
paradise called Eden. God told Adam to dress the garden and keep it (Genesis
2:15). Man was given physical work to do in the physical world. When Adam
and Eve sinned and God had to punish them He increased their labors on the
earth (Genesis 3:16-19). God put plenty of everything He made that we would
need on the earth, but we must work to obtain them (2 Thessalonians
3:10-12). A person who refuses to work to provide for himself and his family
rebels against God.
God shows
Himself impartial to all of earth’s inhabitants (Matthew 5:45). God’s
natural blessings are available alike to all who live in His natural world.
How we avail ourselves of those natural blessings, and how we use them is up
to us. We reap as we sow (Galatians 6:7,8). On the same soil we can plant
seed that produces food, or seed that produces nightshade, a very strong
poison. God lets us make choices as to how we obtain and use His natural
blessings, either for our betterment or for our destruction.
Of all living
creatures that God placed on the earth only humans have the brain capacity
to choose good or evil. All other creatures do what comes natural to them.
Man can do good and please God, or he can do evil and displease God. The
purpose of this web page is to help people make the choices that please God
and bless themselves. We can make choices that make us happy or choices that
ultimately destroy us.
