In 2 Peter 3:13
we are promised a new heaven and a new earth.
In Revelation
2:1-7 we find that new heaven and new earth described. Read those verses in
your Bible.
Remember
Jesus said in Revelation 2:10 that if we are faithful to Him unto death He
will give us a crown of life.
In Revelation
21:1-7 we find these statements:
God says it
is a holy city, the New Jerusalem.
God promises
to dwell with us there.
We will be
God’s people. See also 1 Peter 2:9, l0.
God will wipe
away all tears. See Revelation 7:17.
Death will
never come to that city. (1 Corinthians 15:26)
God makes all
things new (2 Corinthians 5:1)
We will drink
at the fountain of life. (Revelation 22:17)
For all those
who have overcome, God will be our God forever and we will be His children.
In the last
chapter of the Bible we are promised the tree of life that was in the Garden
of Eden (Gen. 2:9 and Gen. 3:22-24) has been transplanted in heaven, and we
will have access to it (Rev. 22:2, 14).
God closes
his book by asking that His grace be with us.
All of these
things are for those who believe God and follow His will as it is revealed
in the New Testament. What precious and exceeding great promises! (2 Peter
1:4)
